The long-awaited professional debut of Kevin Ferguson Jr., aka "Baby Slice," didn't exactly go as planned.

Ferguson, the son of late Bellator star Kimbo Slice, lost a back-and-forth battle to Aaron Hamilton, tapping to a second-round guillotine on the undercard of Bellator 165 at the SAP Center in San Jose, Calif.

Fighting in a 165-pound catchweight contest, Ferguson (0-1) came out fishing for takedowns early and often, securing three in the opening round while hunting for ground-and-pound whenever the opportunity presented itself. The biggest moment of the round came when Ferguson landed a nasty illegal knee to the head of his downed opponent, however Hamilton (1-1) recovered without much trouble.

Ferguson opened the second frame looking for more of the same, nailing Hamilton with a big left hook then dumping him onto his back. Ferguson continued to score with hard punches and elbows as he worked into side control, then knee-on-belly.

But the fight turned on an instant, as Ferguson failed to secure an anaconda choke and Hamilton immediately seized the moment to lock in a fight-ending guillotine choke in the ensuing scramble.

The official time of the stoppage came at 3:00 of round two. Catch video of the finish below.
