The UFC has signed promising young bantamweight Brett Johns to a contract, and the Welsh fighter will make his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 99.
The 24-year old Johns will face the South Korean fighter Kwan Ho Kwak on Nov. 19 in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Johns has gone undefeated in his professional career, posting a perfect 12-0 record in Cage Warriors and most recently Titan FC. Johns, who has a nickname of "The Pikey," is coming off a split decision victory over Anthony Gutierrez at Titan FC 34 this past July. He also holds a victory over veteran Walel Watson.
He is considered one of the up-and-coming prospects in the division.
Johns' manager, Brian Butler, sent a video to Fox Sports which showed his fighter overcome with the news that he would be fighting in the Octagon.
