Round 1:
The referee in charge of the action is Kevin Sataki. Omielanczuk is southpaw and Struve is orthodox. The Polish fighter blitzes, but can't get close enough to land anything. Struve, meanwhile, is throwing teeps to the body. Omielanczuk jumps into a range and left hand on a two-punch combo sneaks through. Struve repays the favor with a body kick and right hand. Struve scores with a head kick, not with full authority and Omielanczuk attempts a takedown, but Struve whizzers hard and stands. He keeps it and trips Omielanczuk to the mat, moving to half guard on top. Omielanczuk tries to roll and Struve takes the back for a moment before taking mount. Omielanczuk rolls again, but Struve keeps the back.

MMA Fighting scores this round 10-9 Struve

Round 2: They lock up immediately and Struve attempts another trip from the whizzer, but can't get it. Omielanczuk presses Struve in the fence, but so far can't get anything going. Struve turns him and scores a big knee, but is turned back into the fence. This time he does score from the whizzer, gets the tip and nearly takes mount before flaring out. From there he locks up a d'arce choke and as Omielanczuk turns, follows him, forcing the tap.
