Fredy Serrano vs. Hector Sandoval added to UFC on FOX 22

A flyweight bout between Fredy Serrano and Hector Sandoval has been added to UFC on FOX 22. The news was first reported by El Espectador and was later announced by UFC Español.

Serrano last fought at UFC 201 in July, losing a split decision to Ryan Benoit. Prior to that, the season one cast member of The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America was undefeated in the UFC with 2 finishes inside the octagon. The Colombian fighter is 3-1 in as a professional fighter.

Sandoval is also coming off a loss at UFC 201, losing his promotional debut to top flyweight Wilson Reis by first-round submission. The Team Alpha Male fighter 12-3 a a professional fighter.

UFC on FOX 22 is set to take place on Dec. 17 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, Calif. Strawweights Paige VanZant and Michelle Waterson are scheduled to battle in the main event of the card.
