Antonio Silva has wasted little time moving on with his career.

Just a week after being released from his UFC contract, the former Elite XC heavyweight champion nicknamed "Bigfoot" has signed to fight Ivan Shtyrkov in a Titov Boxing Promotions event in Yekaterinburg, Russia, on Nov. 18. MMAFighting.com confirmed an initial report by MMAJunkie.com.

The 37-year-old Silva (19-10, 1 NC) has lost three straight fights and five of his past six. His most recent defeat was a second-round KO loss to Roy Nelson on Sept. 24. His last win was a TKO finish of Soa Palelei at UFC 190. Shtyrkov is 4-0, with first-round finishes in all four fights, including a victory over former UFC title challenger Jeff Monson.
