Mike Perry faces Alan Jouban at UFC on FOX 22

Mike Perry is not taking any breaks, as he's now scheduled to take on Alan Jouban at UFC on FOX 22 later this year.

The news was first reported by Los Angeles Daily News, and was later confirmed by MMA Fighting with UFC officials.

The 25-year-old Perry is a fast-rising prospect that's undefeated in his professional MMA career. Perry recently competed at UFC 204 earlier in October, knocking out Danny Roberts in a wild, back-and-fourth fight. 'Platinum' is 9-0 as a professional fighter, and 2-0 in the UFC. He's fought five times in 11 months.

His opponent, Jouban, last fought at UFC Fight Night 90 in July where he defeated Belal Muhammad via unanimous decision. The 34-year-old fighter is currently 4-1 in his past five bouts with his only loss coming to Albert Tumenov at UFC 192 back in 2015. Jouban currently has a professional MMA record of 14-4, and 5-2 in the UFC.

UFC on FOX 22 is set to take place on Dec. 17 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, Calif. This card is expected to be headlined by Paige VanZant vs. Michelle Waterson.
