Titan FC is finishing up the year with a blockbuster event.
Four title fights are on the docket for Titan FC 42 on Dec. 2, promotion officials told MMA Fighting on Thursday.
In the main event, Dhiego Lima will defend his welterweight title against Jason Jackson. Jose Torres will put his flyweight belt on the line in the co-main event against Pedro Nobre and Andrew Whitney and Farkhad Sharipov will meet for the vacant bantamweight title. To cap the title fights, Jack May takes on Volkan Oezdemir to determine the Titan heavyweight champion.
Lima (12-4), an Ultimate Fighter alum, has won two straight and took the Titan welterweight belt with a unanimous decision win over David Michaud in June. The 36-year-old Brazilian is also the brother of Bellator standout Douglas Lima.
Jackson (6-2), also a former TUF castmate, has won three in a row, including a unanimous decision victory over Rodrigo Cavalheiro Correia last month. Jackson, 25, is a prospect out of the Blackzilians camp.
Torres (3-0) is one of the best flyweight prospects in the world. The 24-year-old won the Titan title by beating Abdiel Velazquez by second-round TKO in August. Nobre (17-2-2), one of the top 125-pounders not in the UFC, is coming off a split decision win over Sid Bice in April.
Titan FC 42 will air live on UFC Fight Pass. The location is yet to be determined, but will likely be in South Florida as Titan focuses on that region.
