Another bout between ranked fighters is in the works for UFC on FOX 19, as Michael Chiesa and Beneil Dariush are expected to put their win streaks on the line in a pivotal lightweight clash on April 16. Sources confirmed the match-up Wednesday to MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani.

Chiesa (13-2) looks to further his momentum after submitting Jim Miller to pick up a statement win at UFC Fight Night 80.

A 28-year-old former winner of The Ultimate Fighter 15, Chiesa has pieced together an impressive run inside the UFC, winning six of eight, highlighted by victories over Al IaquintaFrancisco Trinaldo, and Mitch Clarke. His finish of Miller propelled him into the No. 13 spot on the UFC's media-generated lightweight rankings.

Dariush (12-1), likewise, carries a five-fight hot streak into the contest, along with a reputation for being one of the division's most dangerous submission artists.

A 26-year-old product of Kings MMA, Dariush counts victories over Daron Cruickshank, Miller, and a controversial split decision over Michael Johnson among his current run. He is ranked No. 8 at lightweight.

UFC on FOX 19 is presently without a host city or venue, although Tampa Bay, FL is currently on the shortlist.

The card is also expected to feature a potential No. 1 contender fight between surging lightweight Tony Ferguson and the returning Khabib Nurmagomedov, as well as a light heavyweight clash between former UFC champions Rashad Evans and Mauricio "Shogun" Rua.
