Live Chat: Nick Diaz discussion, Bellator Dynamite preview and more

I've been off for several weeks due to vacation, but I'm back and ready to go. Luckily for this chat, there's no shortage of topics to discuss. Unfortunately, one of those topics is unimaginably infuriating, to say nothing of how deeply troubling it is as well. Former Strikeforce welterweight champion and current UFC fighter Nick Diaz was suspended five years and fined 33 percent of his $500,000 UFC 183 by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC). This is the most despicable act I've ever seen by any regulatory body in the sport and proof its members should be resign and apologize to Diaz for their callous, irresponsible and frankly unethical actions. We'll break down every angle of the situation.

There's also Bellator's first Dynamite show this Saturday, which I am in San Jose to cover. I'm told it'll be the biggest gate in Bellator history 'by far' and could even be a sellout by fight time. It's also something of a creative vision by Bellator President Scott Coker come to life and a celebration of martial arts in San Jose. The question is: will it all work?
