Dana White hopeful he'll fix Myles Jury's issue with Reebok

On Friday, UFC lightweight Myles Jury tweeted a photo of Reebok shoes in a garbage can. It was clear he wasn't pleased with the UFC's new apparel sponsor, however, he didn't explain why.

During a Wednesday media conference call to explain the new Reebok compensation terms, UFC president Dana White said he was aware of Jury's issue and was hoping to rectify it in the near future.

"Before we did the deal with Reebok, [Jury] was talking to Reebok," White said. "We are going to make it right. We gotta fix it. So we're going to get together with Reebok, we're going to get together with Myles and we're going to fix it. But yeah, he can't go out trashing Reebok, but he did have a personal falling out with them. It did happen. I'm going to have to manage it and fix it."

When reached for a comment, Jury's manager Ryan Hass said, "We've been in contact with Dana and appreciate what he's doing. Dana has always been great to us. But at this time per our lawyer, David Nelmark, we have no further comment."

Jury's next fight is scheduled for July 25 against Anthony Pettis, which is after the Reebok uniform deal officially goes into effect.
