Michael Bisping says Uriah Hall is a 'head case,' but isn't interested in starting 'rivalries'

Prior to his UFC 187 loss to Rafael Natal, why did UFC middleweight Uriah Hall lash out at Michael Bisping? The Brit didn't fight on the card, rather, he served as an on-site analyst for FOX. Hours after the weigh-in broadcast on Friday, Hall sent out this tweet:

According to Bisping, who spoke to the media Wednesday to promote his UFC Fight Night 72 main event against Thales Leites in Scotland, he doesn't know what irked Hall.

"I'm as confused as anybody," Bisping said. "I've been in the training room with Uriah Hall on a couple of occasions at Reign Training Center. I was working the weigh-in show for FOX. Said a couple of comments, it was nothing negative about Uriah and then, for some reason, the guy started sending out abusive tweets.

"You'd have to ask Uriah Hall," Bisping continued. "I think the guy's a bit of a head case. Obviously mentally weak. That showed in his fight against Rafael Natal."

While Hall and Natal, who have a history themselves, started jawing back and forth on the weigh-in stage, Bisping said on the broadcast that Hall was showing signs of weakness by getting too fired up before the fight.

The Brit said he sent a positive message because of a mutual associate they have. He doesn't intend, however, to say much of anything else. According to him, it's only the Leites bout that he cares about at this point.

"We have the same manager. That's why I sent a nice tweet. I said, 'Look, listen, you'll learn from that mistake.' He's obviously got a lot of potential, but I'm not out to start any rivalries with Uriah Hall.

"I've got a big fight ahead of me with Thales Leites," Bisping explained. "I want to be world champion. All I'm thinking about right now is Thales Leites, the problems that he brings and the show I want to give to the people in Glasgow."
