Rick Story will headline his second UFC card in a row when he faces Brazilian welterweight Erick Silva.
Silva and Story are set to battle in a five-round main event in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on June 27. The bout will headline the TUF Brazil 4 Finale event at the Ibirapuera gymnasium, sources told MMAFighting.com. Combate first reported the news.
Story (18-8) enters the bout coming off back-to-back wins in 2014, most recently upsetting Gunnar Nelson in the main event of UFC Fight Night 53 in Sweden. In his only trip to Brazil, Story tapped to Demian Maia at UFC 153.
Silva (18-5) finally started his first win streak in the UFC this year, choking out Josh Koscheck after a first-round submission over Mike Rhodes in December. The Brazilian is 6-4 in the UFC with six first-round wins.
The UFC has yet to announce Silva vs. Story. Lorenz Larkin versus Santiago Ponzinibbio is the only match-up officially announced for the card so far.
Ariel Helwani contributed to this story.
