Jingliang Li has a new opponent for UFC Fight Night 66.
Dhiego Lima, a "The Ultimate Fighter 14" runner-up, announced on Friday that he’s fighting Jingliang Li on a month's notice at the Fight Night card in Pasay City, Manila, on May 16. Li was originally slated to meet Roger Zapata at the event.
The UFC has yet to officially announce the change, but Lima told MMAFighting.com that contracts are already signed.
Lima (10-3) entered the UFC after winning three in a row at the promotion’s reality show, but suffered a first-round loss to Eddie Gordon at the season finale. The Brazilian cut back down to 170 pounds, going 1-1 with a win over Jorge Oliveira and a loss to Tim Means.
Li (9-3), a former Legend FC champion in Asia, scored a split decision victory over David Michaud in his Octagon debut at UFC 177, but lost to Nordine Talebby, also via split decision, in October.
