Now that the world tour to promote UFC 189's headlining bout between featherweight champion Jose Aldo and challenger Conor McGregor is over, it's worth reflecting back on everything that's happened. I have to admit it was growing just a tad stale before yesterday's culmination in Dublin, Ireland with the belt hoisting by McGregor. It's hard to deny anymore - if not outright impossible - that 'Notorious' might be the most effective at whipping up the fanbase in one direction or the other. I'm still not convinced UFC 189 will do a million pay-per-view buys, but I'm not going to automatically rule that out either.

There's also a UFC event in my backyard, of sorts. I live in the nation's capital, but just outside of that will be Saturday's UFC Fight Night 63, which is headlined by another featherweight clash between Chad Mendes and Ricardo Lamas. The card also features Jorge Masvidal vs. Al Iaquinta, the return of Juliana Pena and much more. We'll preview that as well.

For the true diehards, we'll recap Bellator 135 and WSOF 19 as well.
