This is episode 131 of the Promotional Malpractice Live Chat.

There's no UFC event this weekend, but there's plenty of news, notes and discussion topics in the world of mixed martial arts. First and foremost, former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar officially closed the door on an return to MMA. We'll discuss his legacy, what he did for MMA, what his lack of a return now means for the sport, news that UFC was trying to sign him as he was in ESPN's parking lot minutes before the announcement and more.

We'll also take a look at the UFC 186 fight card now that UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw is injured. If Quinton Jackson can't make the event, we're looking at a severely downgraded event in a market the UFC has, for one reason or another, failed to live up to expectations.

Last, but certainly not least, we'll also take a look at the two MMA event this weekend. Bellator 135 and WSOF 19 are both headed are way with at least a few interesting bouts of note between them.
