This is episode 129 of the Promotional Malpractice Live Chat.

UFC 185: Anthony Pettis vs. Rafael dos Anjos is just days away now, so we'll go as in depth as we can breaking down this main event, who is likely to win, why and with what methods and what it all means for the sport. We'll also look at the co-main event, a women's strawweight fight between champion Carla Esparza and rising contender Joanna Jędrzejczyk. There's been some debate about whether that bout has been properly promoted, or, more specifically, if the champion herself has received enough publicity. Last, but certainly not least, we'll delve into Johny Hendricks vs. Matt Brown from this card as well.

We'll also touch on other issues affecting the sport today: Fedor Emelianenko suggesting only men should fight MMA, Ian McCall's Team Alpha Male hatred, the curious case of Phoenix Jones, and whatever else it is you guys wish to discuss.

Oh, and we'll touch on Mayweather vs. Pacquiao ahead of today's presser from Los Angeles, California.
