A lightweight bout between Abel Trujillo and Tony Sims has been added to UFC 195, the UFC announced this week.

Trujillo (12-7) is making a quick return to the Octagon after a controversial rear-naked choke loss against Gleison Tibau at UFC Fight Night 77 on Nov. 7. The Blackzilians fighter is currently on a two-fight losing streak that also includes another rear-naked choke loss to Tony Ferguson back at UFC 181. Prior to that, Trujillo was 3-1-1 NC inside the octagon. This streak included a Knockout of the Night and Fight of the Night win over former WEC lightweight champion Jamie Varner and a decision loss to UFC lightweight top contender Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Tibau was provisionally suspended by USADA this past week for a potential, out-of-competition anti-doping policy violation. It's unclear if the test came before or after the fight with Trujillo and nothing has been said yet about the bout being overturned into a no contest.

Meanwhile, Sims (12-3) is coming off a decision loss against Oliver Aubin-Mercier back in August at UFC Fight Night 74. Prior to that, the Sims made a successful promotional debut by knocking out Steve Montgomery in the first round.

UFC 195 will take place in Las Vegas on Jan. 2. Robbie Lawler is set to defend his belt against Carlos Condit in the the main event.
