There's more at stake for Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 194 than a shiny golden belt.

Speaking on Thursday morning's edition of SportsCenter, UFC President Dana White announced that the winner of Dec. 12's main event will land a spot opposite Ronda Rousey on the cover of EA Sports' upcoming title, EA Sports UFC 2.

"For the first time in EA Sports history, who will go on the cover will be decided by the fight," White said. "It's never happened in sports history where a sporting event determined who will go on the cover."

Rousey was announced as the EA Sports UFC 2 cover athlete ahead of her Nov. 15 UFC 193 bout opposite Holly Holm, where she failed to defend her title, losing via second-round knockout. During that original announcement, it was also revealed that a soon-to-be-announced fighter would join Rousey on the cover.

The first installment to the EA Sports UFC franchise featured then-light heavyweight champion Jon Jones opposite 205-pound challenger Alexander Gustafsson, so EA Sports UFC 2 sticks with tradition in featuring two high-profile UFC athletes.

EA Sports UFC 2 is expected to be released in Spring 2016 on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. A trailer for the game can be seen here.
