There's no major MMA event this weekend, although Josh Thomson headlines for the first time over in Bellator and does so back in San Jose on Friday for Bellator 147. That aside, there was more bad press for Reebok this week as they featured an 'Anderson Aldo' t-shirt. In fact, the more the MMA community digs through their website selling merchandise, the more notable errors appear, e.g. champions labeled as interim champions or Anthony Pettis referred to as 'The Mauler'. Some have begun to wonder whether this is intentional (it's not) and what it means for the future of the UFC-Reebok deal.

This was also the week former UFC welterweight champion of the world Georges St-Pierre made a series of interesting comments on the MMA Hour. Will the Reebok deal prevent him from returning to the UFC? What really happened after UFC 167? We'll go over what his remarks mean.

And last, but certainly not least, a monster weekend in mixed martial arts is headed our way the next week when UFC 194 (as well as two other UFC events in succession) all take place in a three-day span. The crown jewel, though - Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor - is one worth talking about more in advance. Will Aldo be able to submit him? Who has the better punching power? How do they physically match up? That and more on today's chat.
