This is the UFC 194 undercard blog for the UFC 194 event at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nev. on Saturday night.

There will be seven fights on the UFC 194 undercard. Urijah Faber vs. Frankie Saenz, Tecia Torres vs. Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger, Warlley Alves vs. Colby Covington, Leonardo Santos vs. Kevin Lee, Joe Proctor vs. Magomed Mustafaev, John  Makdessi vs. Yancy Medeiros, and Court McGee vs. Marcio Alexandre Jr. will be featured.

Court McGee vs. Marcio Alexandre Jr.
Round 1: Can't believe we're finally here. UFC 194. Let's do it, ya'll. Alexandre Jr. will be shortened to MAJ to make this easier. Both men looking to trade early. McGee dives inside and forces the fight to the fence. They take turns reversing the position until MAJ finally releases to the center of the cage. McGee wades forward with punches but can't land anything. McGee catches MAJ with a lunging straight right. Oh, gnarly ball shot there from McGee. MAJ is not a happy camper right now. And we're back. McGee continues to stalk forward. Big spinning backfist lands for McGee! McGee drives MAJ to the fence and hunts for a takedown. MAJ nearly catches a guillotine but can't finish. McGee ends the round working from top position. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 McGee.

Round 2: They collide with simultaneous kicks. McGee pressures forward, then changes levels and muscles MAJ into the fence. MAJ toughs out a few body shots and breaks free. McGee continues to look for low kicks. McGree traps MAJ against the cage and holds him there. McGee spends nearly a minute hunting for a single leg but can't get it. Pretty uneventful round right here. McGee goes back to another single leg attempt, but again the action stalls and the two fighters are separated. McGee lands another low kick but eats a straight counter for his troubles. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 McGee. (20-18 McGee.)

Round 3: McGee drives inside and double legs MAJ to the mat. MAJ wall walks to his feet, but he's still trapped against the fence. McGee releases with a flurry. McGee continues to walk forward and look for his offense. Body kick lands from McGee. McGee smacks MAJ with a salvo to the body, then walks him over to the fence. McGee briefly hunts for a double leg, switches to a single, then back to a double. He finally gets it, hoisting MAJ in the air and dumping him to the floor. McGee goes to work inside MAJ's guard. MAJ is not having a good time right now. McGee takes his time with short punches and elbows. And that should do it. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 McGee. (30-27 McGee.)

Court McGee def. Marcio Alexandre Jr. via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

John Makdessi vs. Yancy Medeiros
Round 1: Marc Goddard is the man in charge for this one. Medeiros circles and pumps his jab. Medeiros tossing out plenty of head and body kicks early, trying to test his range. Makdessi steps inside and misses with a spinning back kick. Lots of single shots from both men so far, no one really committing to anything. Makdessi corners Medeiros and nails him with a body kick. Makdessi jabs to the body. Medeiros continues to circles and pump his jab. A little trickle of blood is dripping out of Makdessi's nose. Close round. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Medeiros.

Round 2: Let's see if this picks up a bit. Medeiros misses a wild spinning back kick and nearly gets cracked for it. Medeiros continues to lead behind his jab. Makdessi answers with a nasty spinning heel kick! Biggest shot of the fight so far. Makdessi goes low with a kick, then cracks Medeiros with a right. Oh, nice right hand to answer from Medeiros. They clinch for the first time of the fight, and Makdessi ends up with his back to the fence. Nothing comes from it. Makdessi counters a spinning attack by cracking Medeiros in the chin. Makdessi on the hunt now. Solid exchange from both men. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Makdessi. (19-19 overall.)

Round 3:
Medeiros comes out swinging. Intensity from both men is rising now. Medeiros circles and pops his jab while Makdessi stalks forward. Medeiros sticks his jab in Makdessi's face. Makdessi dials up his aggression and wades forward with punches. Big right hand from Makdessi! Medeiros takes a moment to reclaim his mouthpiece. They're throwing now! Left hand cracks Medeiros. Huge right drops Makdessi! Medeiros swarms but there's the bell. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Medeiros. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Medeiros. (29-28 Medeiros.)

Yancy Medeiros def. John Makdessi via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)

Joe Proctor vs. Magomed Mustafaev
Round 1: Proctor wades forward and catches Mustafaev flush with a right. Mustafaev misses a spinning heel kick response, then walks Proctor into the corner and unloads. Mustafaev is relentless. Big body kick from Mustafaev. Mustafaev chases Proctor across the cage, traps him against the fence and smashes a massive knee into his body, then nose! Proctor drops! Mustafaev tears into him with punches and this one is over.

Leonardo Santos vs. Kevin Lee
Round 1: The main card is approaching, y'all. Can you feel it? First fight of the FS1 prelims up now. John McCarthy is the man in charge. Santos head-hunting early. Lee eats a straight left then answers with a right. Lee sticks his jab in Santos' face. And again. Oh, stiff jab from Santos. The Brazilian contingent in the crowd makes themselves heard for the first time tonight. And the Irish answer right back with a rousing cheer of "Ole Ole!" Big takedown from Santos. Lee works to his feet, but Santos takes his back in the scramble. Lee pries him off and separates. Huge counter right drops Lee! Santos swarms with follow-up shots! Lee is just trying to survive. Santos continues to pound away until McCarthy stops it. Lee isn't happy, but Santos is already gone! He literally sprinted out of the arena! What a weird sequence of events.

Warlley Alves vs. Colby Covington
Round 1: This is Marc Raimondi filling in for Al-Shatti. Alves vs. Covington is an outstanding clash of 170-pound prospects. Both undefeated. Mark Smith is your referee. Body kick by Alves lands. Covington goes for a takedown as Alves wades in. Alves is down, but scrambling. Alves is standing. Covington has him pushed against the cage. Hard elbow by Covington. Alves looking for a guillotine! Covington taps! He tried to slam out of it. Nope, didn't work. Man, Alves is a top-notch up-and-coming fighter. With a murderous guillotine.

Tecia Torres vs. Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger
Round 1: This is Al-Shatti tagging back in. RFA champ Jones-Lybarger is about to make her UFC debut as a replacement for Michelle Waterson. Herb Dean is the referee for this one. No touch of gloves. Jones-Lybarger catches an early kick and stumbles Torres. Torres recovers and circles. Jones-Lybarger eats a left. Nice outside leg kick from Torres. Jones-Lybarger is much, much longer than Torres, but Torres is getting the better of these exchanges. Big right hand lands for Torres. Jones-Lybarger storms forward and gets reversed into the fence. Torres begins working short knees from the clinch. Jones-Lybarger finally reverses the position, but it's short-lived as she winds up with her back again against the fence. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Torres.

Round 2:
Jones-Lybarger comes out on the aggressive. Torres lands a nice counter right, but Jones-Lybarger continues to walk forward. Jones-Lybarger hits an outside leg kick then ties up against the fence. The action stalls and the crowd is getting restless. They finally release and Torres goes low with a kick. Jones-Lybarger answers with a body kick, then drives Torres into the fence. They trade reversals until Jones-Lybarger disengages to the center. Torres starts coming alive with punches! Jones-Lybarger looks exhausted, and Torres throws her to the mat. Torres hammers away with elbows from half guard. Solid punches from Torres but Jones-Lybarger survives out the round. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Torres. (20-18 Torres.)

Round 3: Torres immediately takes the fight back to the fence. They break free, and Torres goes over the top with a right. Jones-Lybarger connects on a body kick but eats a stiff jab for her troubles. Torres finds a home for her straight right. Torres circles, then goes over the top with a right. Torres swarms and staggers Jones-Lybarger! Torres starts unloading against the fence! She dives back into clinch and the action stalls. Torres starts hand fighting and working her dirty boxing. We're back to the center of the cage, and they start slugging! Great sequence to end this bout. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Torres. (30-27 Torres.)

Urijah Faber vs. Frankie Saenz
Round 1: Huge pop here for Urijah Faber. The Irish crowd couldn't resist his banter game on TUF. Marc Goddard is the man in charge. Faber comes out aggressive but Saenz stuffs a pair of takedowns. The chants of "Ole! Ole!" erupt. Saenz beating Faber to the punch here so far. Faber ducks under a wild shot, then ties up. Big right hand lands for Faber from the clinch. They release, and Faber hits a lunging knee to the chin. Internet issues causing a few technical difficulties, but we're back and Saenz is landing on Faber. Outside leg kick from Saenz. Faber shoots for a single leg and gets stuffed. Saenz dives into the clinch. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Faber.

Round 2: Right off the bat, big head kick rocks Saenz! He looks out on his feet! Faber swarms with heavy shots against the fence! Somehow Saenz is staying in this. More heavy elbows and punches from Faber. Faber hits a trip into half guard, but Saenz reverses into top position! Wow, what a sequence. Saenz takes Faber's back as Faber stands. Faber works out and they trade positions against the fence. Short elbow finds its mark for Faber. They release to the center and Saenz briefly drops Faber with a leg kick. Faber walks forward through another leg kick. And another. Saenz goes back to the well again but this time Faber catches the kick and wrestles him to the floor. Saenz pops back up. Faber connects on a right as Saenz wades in. Saenz stuffs a takedown. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Faber. (20-18 Faber.)

Round 3:
Faber closes the distance and cracks Saenz with two overhand rights. Head kick is blocked by Saenz. Faber easily evades a spinning back fist. Saenz lunges inside and hunts for a double. Faber stuffs it and releases to the center. Saenz brushes off a level change from Faber. Hard right hard lands for Faber. And another. Saenz cracks Faber with a counter right. Faber answers by going over the top with a looping shot. Saenz kicks Faber in the midsection. Faber ducks under a punch and drives into a big takedown. One minute left, so that could be huge. Saenz slowly climbs to his feet, but Faber keeps him trapped against the fence. Saenz finally frees himself and just misses a knee to the head. Faber muscles Saenz to the floor once more, as Saenz hunts for a desperation leglock. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Faber. (30-27 Faber.)
