Nova União lightweight Leonardo Santos - a teammate and friend of UFC 194 headliner Jose Aldo - delivered a two-punch combination that dropped his opponent Kevin Lee to the canvas. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt relentlessly followed up with a series of punches that forced the referee to stop the fight at 3:26 of round 1.
What makes this win so special? According to some oddsmakers, Santos was a +475 favorite. Not only did Santos win and do so quickly, he did it on terms few ever thought he could.
This is Santos' first knockout win since November of 2008. Watch the excellent finish below:
Leonardo Santos KO's Kevin Lee, jumps out the Octagon, and SPRINTS into the crowd for a victory lap. Nice. #UFC194 https://t.co/oop8o3prB3
