UFC Fight Night 77 bonuses: Vitor Belfort earns $50,000 after his KO over Dan Henderson

After knocking out Dan Henderson in a trilogy fight at UFC Fight Night 77 in São Paulo, Brazil, Vitor Belfort earned a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.

The news was announced at the post-fight conference.

Belfort made quick work of the former Olympic wrestler after landing a left head-kick that dropped Henderson to the ground. Referee Mario Yamasaki stopped the bout at 2:07 of round one.

Additionally, Brazilian fighters Thomas Almeida, Alex Oliveira and Thiago Tavares earned Performance of the Night bonuses also worth $50,000.

Almeida, the 24-year-old bantamweight prospect, defeated Anthony Birchak via KO at 4:22 of round one. Almeida improved his record to 20-0 and is now 4-0 in the UFC. Oliveira also knock out his opponent and improved his record to 3-1 in the UFC. Oliveira defeated Piotr Hallmann via KO at 4:06 of round three.

Meanwhile, Tavares earned his bonus after submitting UFC veteran Clay Guida at 0:39 of round one. This is Tavares' third Performance of the Night bonus in a row.
