Colin Cowherd was nearly the victim of a nasty Holly Holm elbow. By choice.
The new UFC women's bantamweight champion demonstrated a standing elbow -- like the one with which she hit Ronda Rousey -- on the host during his "The Herd" show Friday on FOX Sports 1. Cowherd prompted Holm to do it and she complied.
"I can go short elbow to jaw," Holm said. "I can go forearm across your face. It just depends. Sometimes, I think this is more of a sharp point. But say I miss them. With Ronda, she might grab onto you."
It wasn't the elbow that finished Rousey. Holm landed a huge head kick in the second round that knocked the former champion out cold in the main event of UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia.
The last two days, Holm has been in Los Angeles working the talk show circuit. She was even spotted at the Los Angeles Clippers game at Staples Center, where she got a huge ovation. There, she hung out with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Jamie Foxx.
