Ronda Rousey could have beat Bethe Correia quicker: 'I took my time'

Ronda Rousey stopped then-undefeated contender Bethe Correia in just 34 seconds at UFC 190, but believes she could have done it way faster.

The UFC bantamweight champion, who finished her last four opponents in 130 seconds combined, quickly knocked Correia out in front of her fellow Brazilians in Rio de Janeiro on Aug. 1.

"I took my time," Rousey said of her 34-second knockout on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. "I could have finished the girl earlier because she went to the ground, I didn't go to the ground. She would try to close the distance and I could’ve thrown her, and I was like 'no, you're getting knocked out tonight', so it went 34 seconds."

Rousey (12-0) is scheduled to defend her title for the third time in 2015 on Nov. 14, when she meets undefeated striker Holly Holm at Australia’s UFC 193.
