HOUSTON -- Sage Northcutt didn't waste any time getting to the UFC. And he only picked up speed once he got there.
The 19-year old from nearby Katy, Texas made a memorable debut in his hometown Saturday night at UFC 192. Northcutt needed just 57 seconds to finish Francisco Trevino in a catchweight 160-pound bout at Toyota Center.
"I'm so blessed to be here," said Nothcutt (6-0). "Dana White, thank you for this opportunity, I'm only 19 years old."
Northcutt wasted little time as he dropped Trevino to the mat, then swarmed him. Trevino got back to his feet, only to be quickly taken back down. Northcutt then opened up with a series of elbows to the head, followed by left-handed punches, before Dean waved it off.

Trevino (15-2) vigorously protested the stoppage, but to no avail.
"I think it was a plan," Northcutt said. "He slipped and I took advantage of it, I took him down and finished with elbows. Herb Dean knows what he's doing, he's the ref in the UFC."
Northcutt (6-0) has won all his fights via finish, five in the first round.
