None of the fighters at Bellator MMA: Dynamite 1 were found to have prohibited substances in their system.
All drug test results from the card on Sept. 19 in San Jose came back negative, California State Athletic Commission executive director Andy Foster announced Thursday. Additional testing at the UCLA lab was needed for several fighters on the card, but no positive tests were found, Foster said.
The card featured Bellator MMA bouts as well as GLORY kickboxing fights.
The main event of Bellator's first MMA/kickboxing hybrid card was a light heavyweight title fight between champion Liam McGeary and MMA legend Tito Ortiz. McGeary won the bout via first-round submission.
Also on the card, Phil Davis made his Bellator debut by winning a four-man, light heavyweight tournament, Josh Thomson defeated Mike Bronzoulis in his own Bellator debut, Paul Daley won a GLORY kickboxing bout over Fernando Gonzalez and Saulo Cavalari won the GLORY kickboxing light heavyweight belt in a bout with Zack Mwekassa.
