Two of the UFC's biggest rising stars at women's strawweight will face off in two months.
Paige VanZant will meet Rose Namajunas in the main event of UFC Fight Night 80 on Dec. 10 in Las Vegas, UFC president Dana White announced Wednesday on Twitter. VanZant was supposed to meet Joanne Calderwood in the headliner, but Calderwood pulled out due to injury. The card will air live and exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.

News of the fight change was first stated by VanZant's Team Alpha Male teammate Justin Buchholz on the Stud Show Radio podcast Tuesday night.
VanZant (6-1), who has taken the UFC by storm this year and signed an individual deal with Reebok, has won all three of her fights in the UFC. The last one came via third-round armbar over Alex Chambers at UFC 191 in September. VanZant, just 21, is a former model and dancer. She also owns a unanimous decision win over veteran Felice Herrig at UFC on FOX 15 in April.
Namajunas (3-2) is coming off a first-round submission win over Angela Hill at UFC 192 earlier this month. The Milwaukee native and Grudge Training Center product went to the finals of The Ultimate Fighter 20, only to fall via third-round submission to Carla Esparza in a bout for the inaugural UFC women's 115-pound belt. Namajunas, 23, defeated Chambers, Calderwood and Randa Markos on TUF 20. Before falling to Esparza, she was christened by White as potentially the Ronda Rousey of the women's strawweight division.
UFC Fight Night 80 will take place at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The co-main event pits lightweight contenders Michael Chiesa and Jim Miller against one another. Also on the card, top prospect Sage Northcutt meets Cody Pfister.
