This is the UFC Fight Night 59 live blog for Uriah Hall vs. Ron Stallings, a middleweight bout at Sunday night's UFC event at the TD Garden in Boston, Mass.

Hall, who has won two of his four UFC fights, will face Stallings, who will be making his UFC debut, on the main card.

Round 1: Herb Dean is the referee. Hall comes out with a flying knee, but misses and Stallings is now stalking from the southpaw position. Decent liver kick by Stallings as well as a leg kick. Wheel kick from Hall misses from the TUF alumnus. Good low kick from Stallings, but Hall tries to answer. Spinning hook kick from Hall misses. Good left from Stallings cracks Hall. Nice right hand counter from Hall drops Stallings and Hall pounces. Stallings rolls over his back to avoid the shots, but Hall stays on him. Eventually Hall backs away and forces Stallings to stand. As he does, he is bleeding profusely from two bad cuts over his left eye. Dean calls time and gets the doctor to look at it. The fight is stopped due to the severity of the cut.
