Welcome to the Promotional Malpractice Live Chat, episode 105.

I'm back, y'all. Vacation was weird and wonderful (and desperately needed), but I'm back. I'm so excited to do this chat today and reconnect with all of you.

In terms of discussion topics, is there any shortage? Of course not. UFC 178 is this weekend and despite losing its exquisite main event, is still a fantastic fight card in its own right.

Speaking of that original main event between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier, both of those light heavyweights faced fairly stiff punishment yesterday at the hands of the Nevada Athletic Commission.

Their penalties, however, are nothing compared to the lifetime ban that 'The Axe Murderer' Wanderlei Silva received for running from a May 2014 random drug test.

Oh, and then there's that Thiago Silva and Anthony Johnson mess.
