Round 1: John McCarthy is the referee. Baszler tries to clinch with Correira and drives a knee to Correira's face. Correira gets Baszler down and now the American is in half guard. Baszler pulls full guard. Baszler is working a high guard that gives her options for triangles or shoulder cranks. Correira escapes. Baszler charges forward with punches and they clinch again. Baszler working on a single against the fence, but can't get it. Baszler tries for a double as they separate, but Correira stuffs it. As she escapes, though. Baszler reverses her to the mat and attempts a guillotine.

Round 2: The two opened the round trading punches and now Baszler tries to clinch. Correira obliges her but scores with a heavy elbow over the top that clearly hurts her. At this point, Correira just unloads. Baszler leans against the fence as Correira throws strikes for what appears to be minutes until referee McCarthy has no choice but to stop the onslaught.
