The UFC's return to Austin has gained a pair of interesting fights.

Joseph Benavidez will meet Dustin Ortiz in a battle of flyweight contenders and a women's strawweight bout between Paige Van Zant and Kailin Curran has been moved to the Nov. 19 UFC Fight Night card, the company announced on Tuesday.

Benavidez (20-4), a Team Alpha Male fighter, has won four out of his past five bouts. The only loss in that stretch was a knockout to champion Demetrious Johnson in December. Benavidez rebounded from the loss with a submission finish of Tim Elliott at UFC 172, which earned him a Performance of the Night bonus.

Ortiz (14-3), meanwhile, is 5-1 in his past six and 3-1 in the UFC. The 25-year-old Tennessean earned his biggest win to date with a split decision over Justin Scoggins in a well-contested affair at the TUF 19 Finale in July.

Van Zant (3-1) and Curran (3-0), meanwhile, were originally scheduled to square off on the Oct. 4 Fight Night card in Halifax, Canada. But the bout was shifted after Van Zant suffered a spinal injury.

She recently posted about her injury on Facebook. "I left Sacramento to come back to my home state and have been in intense physical therapy from a spine injury," Van Zant said. "I do not have insurance coverage in California and I have not been giving the okay to train at this time. I am working hard to get better."
