Michael Bisping asked for it and he got it. Following their headlining bout Aug. 23 in Macau, Bisping and fellow UFC middleweight Cung Le will undergo advanced drug testing.

"Good news for Michael Bisping,' Ariel Helwani reported on UFC Tonight. "I spoke with UFC president Dana White from Macau and he told me that Cung Le and Michael Bisping will be subjected to enhanced drug testing. Blood and urine testing after the fight. The UFC is doing this on their own. They are the governing body in Macau because there's no athletic commission there. [UFC is] paying for it and both of them will undergo that kind of testing."

Bisping had stated a concern over Le's impressive appearance Wednesday during fight week, but didn't believe the advanced testing would happen. Neither man has been caught using performance enhancing drugs during their career, but Bisping was one of the UFC's most outspoken critics of testosterone replacement therapy and testosterone use exemptions prior to the program being banned by the more prominent state athletic commissions.
