Three UFC 176 match-ups moved to UFC 177, UFC Fight Night 47

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

The ripple effect caused by UFC 176's postponement has already begun to be felt by the UFC's upcoming summer schedule, as three fights scheduled for the ill-fated card have instead been shifted to subsequent August events.

A lightweight showdown between borderline contenders, Bobby Green vs. Abel Trujillo, as well as a clash between top-10 ranked flyweights, Jussier Formiga vs. Zach Makovsky, will now take place at UFC Fight Night 47, which is scheduled for August 16 at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine, and will see Ryan Bader collide against Ovince St. Preux in the main event.

Similarly, a women's bantamweight tilt between burgeoning Brazilian contender Bethe Correia and longtime veteran Shayna Baszler will now be staged on August 30 at UFC 177, which is to be held at Sacramento's Sleep Train Arena and feature a rematch between UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw and former titleholder Renan Barao as the headlining bout.

Further announcements regarding the remaining fights on UFC 176's original 11-fight card are expected to be made in the coming days, as Zuffa CEO Lorenzo Fertitta explained on FOX Sports 1 late Tuesday night.

"The balance of the fight card will be dispersed amongst the various fights that we have coming up on FOX Sports 1 and/or FOX," he said. "We're going to try to get them fights as quickly as we can because obviously we want to keep them busy and keep them active."
