Yushin Okami faces David Branch for WSOF title at WSOF 15

Yushin Okami will get his first crack at WSOF gold on Oct. 24.

WSOF middleweight champion David Branch will make his first title defense against Okami, according to WSOF president Ray Sefo during a conference call Tuesday afternoon.

A WSOF official confirmed Oct. 24 as the date for WSOF 15, but the site is not known yet.

Branch won the WSOF middleweight title with a submission win over Jesse Taylor at WSOF 10 on June 21.

Okami won his promotional debut at WSOF 9 with a submission win over Svetlozar Savov.  He has won four of his past five fights.
