Round 1: Mario Yamasaki is the referee. Dodson is southpaw while Moraga is orthodox. Dodson leaping in with two left hands that only partially lands. Body shots now for Dodson and he's hit in the groin, but the bout continues. Short uppercut finds the mark for Dodson. Step through knee partially lands for Dodson. Moraga is throwing, but hitting nothing but air. Decent body shot now for Moraga. Two more leaping left straights for Dodson. Moraga throws an overhand right and attempts a takedown, but can't get it. Dodson works his way inside and comes over the top with a left hand. He also drills Moraga with a knee to the body, which visibly hurts him just before the end of the round.

Round 2: Left hand scores for Dodson to open the frame. Hard inside leg kick for Moraga finds the mark, but he whiffs on a follow-up punch. Two overhand rights score for Moraga, but as they clinch Dodson takes him down against the fence. Dodson connects with an overhand punch before Moraga is able to stand. Moraga is doing all the control of the center of the cage while Dodson not throwing a whole lot. Good left for Dosson scores, although not a heavy shot. Dodson backs Moraga up with a punch and connects on a kick to Moraga's face that drops him to the canvas. Moraga's nose is leaking like a faucet and Dodson is trying to put him away. The bell sounds before he can really gain any additional momentum.MMA Fighting scores this round 10-9 Dodson, but the doctors call it after the end of the round.
