WSOF's NBC debut set for Daytona Beach, will not coincide with UFC 175

World Series of Fighting's 11th event has finally found a home.

The July 5 event will take place at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Fla., and the main card will air live on NBC, WSOF executive vice president Ali Abdel-Aziz confirmed with first reported the news.

July 5 will be a busy day for MMA fans as UFC 175 will also take place on that date in Las Vegas, however, WSOF officials confirmed to that the NBC broadcast will air from 4 p.m. ET to 6 p.m. ET to not coincide with the UFC event. This will mark the first time NBC will air a live mixed martial arts event.

WSOF will be headlined by Justin Gaethje vs. Nick Newell for the WSOF lightweight, as well as Josh Burkman vs. Jon Fitch 3 and JZ Cavalcante vs. Melvin Guillard.
