Alptekin Ozkilic injured, out of UFC Fight Night 39 bout against Dustin Ortiz

Alptekin Ozkilic is out of UFC Fight Night 39 card with an injury, and UFC’s return to Abu Dhabi will feature only nine bouts.

The UFC announced that Ozkilic (9-2) has suffered an injury and won’t be cleared to compete against flyweight Dustin Ortiz (12-3) on April 11. According to the promotion Thursday, Ortiz will be moved to another card to face an opponent yet to be determined.

Four years after UFC’s first trip to Abu Dhabi, the promotion returns to the Yas Island with Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Roy Nelson in the main event. An updated fight card can be seen below.
