Evolve MMA to hold inaugural tryouts in June

One of Asia's most renowned fight teams, Evolve MMA, will be holding an inaugural open tryout for up-and-coming fighters to join its ranks this June.

Tryouts take place Saturday, June 21, and Sunday, June 22, in Singapore. Altogether Evolve MMA will be looking for 15 prospective fighters to join its ranks, which already include several notable names such as ONE FC lightweight champion Shinya Aoki and top-10 UFC lightweight Rafael dos Anjos.

"We are continuously looking to expand the Evolve Fight Team and to help more fighters unleash their potential," said Evolve head coach Heath Sims in a statement. "The selected athletes will have unlimited access to our world renowned championship training schedule, state-of-the-art facilities, and will see themselves training alongside the very best in the business such as Ben Askren, Tarec Saffiedine, Shinya Aoki, Yodsanan Sityodtong, Namsaknoi Yudthagarngamtorn, Eddie Ng, Leandro Ataides, Jake Butler, Leandro Issa, Irshaad Sayed, and many others.

"The selected athletes will also have their careers managed and will potentially have an opportunity to compete in the world's largest fight organizations such as ONE FC and UFC. In addition, they will also have an amazing opportunity to help change the lives of our students through martial arts as full-time instructors at Evolve MMA."
