Live Chat: UFC 171 recap, UFC Fight Night 38 preview and more

There's a new welterweight champion in town and the division could not be crazier.

Fresh off the heels of UFC 171, the UFC was able to sort out who sits atop the division, but not much else. Tyron Woodley and Hector Lombard had big wins, but were they big enough? Nick Diaz wants back in and Rory MacDonald is also a suitable contender for title shot contention. But who is first? And why? To that end, no one really knows much, but we'll try to sort it out today.

The UFC also doesn't take their foot off the gas this weekend as they travel to Brazil to stage a rematch of one of the best fights ever when Dan Henderson and Mauricio Rua face off at UFC Fight Night 38.

Oh, the Bellator train rolls on as the man everyone pretended to care about in Attila Vegh defends his title against interim champion Emanuel Newton.

There's a lot going on, so join me today to discuss all of this and more. In terms of today's chat, anything is up for discussion, but I will lead with this and it all kicks off at 1 p.m. ET.

As is customary, I'll post the video window here as the event draws near and I'll answer any questions you may have if you post them in the comments section below. Be sure that you click the 'rec' button for those comments/questions you believe most deserve a response.
