UFC announces Black History Month media tour

The UFC is hitting the road in February as the world's leader in mixed martial arts promotes Black History Month with a five-date media tour featuring UFC fighters in charity events and other appearances. The organization announced the news Thursday via press release.

According to the release, the schedule of events and fighters set to participate in the tour are as follows:

• Monday, Feb. 24 in New York City with Demetrious Johnson and Uriah Hall as well as Tuesday, Feb. 25 in Philadelphia
• Wednesday, Feb. 26 in Washington, D.C. with Rashad Evans and Anthony Johnson as well as Thursday, Feb. 27 in Atlanta
• Friday, Feb. 28 in Los Angeles with Phil Davis and Tyron Woodley

The UFC is using the slogan 'We are all fighters' to promote the event as well as using the Twitter hastag #BHM. No formal events in individual cities have been named as of this time.
