Live Chat: ESPN TRT exposé, UFC 170 recap, Bellator 110 preview

Chris Trotman

Here's what I would say: I don't know how it's possible to read the ESPN Outside The Lines (OTL) article on the extraordinary prevalence of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) in MMA and conclude it's anything but a scam and a joke. I'm sure there's a rebuttal out there somewhere to be had, but whoever attempts one has their work cut out for them. The incidence rate of use in MMA is a complete outlier, the method by which fighters obtain treatment is sketchy and the medical justifications are dubious, to put it mildly. We'll be talking about this.

Let's not forget there's still a bit to unpack from Saturday's UFC 170 including Herb Dean's stoppage of the main event, where Daniel Cormier goes from here and more.

And oh, hey, Bellator is back. Their tenth season kicks off Friday with what I would describe as a fairly high-stakes affair in the light heavyweight tournament. Bellator is determined to do another pay-per-view and if that's the case, they need Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson and likely Mo Lawal to do it. Will both of them win? It's honestly and truly up for debate.

There's a lot going on, so join me today to discuss all of this and more. In terms of today's chat, anything is up for discussion, but I will lead with this and it all kicks off at 1 p.m. ET.

As is customary, I'll post the video window here as the event draws near and I'll answer any questions you may have if you post them in the comments section below. Be sure that you click the 'rec' button for those comments/questions you believe most deserve a response.

Be sure to link this page and use the hashtag #chatwrappers on Twitter or even Facebook when you're watching this to let everyone know you're taking part is this activity of ours.

Talk with you all at 1 p.m. ET.
