Round 1: Bagautinov with quick takedown. Working from Lineker's guard. He postures up and rains down some lefts, but Lineker keeping things close. Great start for the Jackson fighter, Bagautinov Now he is able to sit upright and land a couple of bigger left hands on Lineker, who right now can't get up. Lineker using his legs trying to push away, and now spins for a heel hook. Both men are trying, and they are contorting. Looks like BBagautinov has to let it go. Now Lineker, from his hind quarters, swinging punches like a pendulum, none of them doing any damage. They stand. Bagautinov keeping his left hand at the ready while Lineker keeps the middle of the cage. Once again Bagautinov dumps the Brazilian on his back and goes to work. He moves to half guard and drops some punches through. Lineker fishing for Bagautinov's left arm at the ten-second mark for a kimura, but he can't get it. Round ends with Bagautinov on top, throwing short heavy punches. MMA Fighting scores R1, 10-9 Bagautinov

Round 2: Lineker quickly to center, and it doesn't take Bagautinov long to try and scoop him off his feet. This time it fails, and Bagautinov circles away. Lineker trying to time something out, but he has to respect that takedown. Bagautinov changes levels and comes in on the body with a blow, which lands. Now he throws, and as Lineker peels out of there he pursues with a lunging knee which lands into the Brazilian's ribcage. They clinch, and break. Once again Lineker holds the middle, and stalks into Bagautinov. Now Lineker comes to life and lands a nice volley of punches on Bagautinov as he is against the fence. As Bagautinov swoops in for a leg to get things on the ground, Lineker makes him pay with a series of sharp elbows to the temple. They stand up, and Bagautinov stays on him momentarily. Now they separate. Big uppercut counter narrowly misses for Lineker. Crowd oohs. Once again Bagautinov tries for a single leg and, once again, he is met with an elbow as Lineker sprawls. Lineker doing a much better job keeping the fight standing here. Right hook by Bagautinov, and a counter lands flush from Lineker. Great action at the end, as they exchange on the fence, with Lineker looking to have gotten the better of it. MMA Fighting scores R2 for Lineker, 10-9 (19-19 overall)

Round 3: Lineker stalks Bagautinov along fence, and throwing isolated shots to open. Nothing big landing. Bagautinov on his bicycle here, and he jumps in and secures a quick takedown. This time Lineker stands up, but only momentarily -- Bagautinov drags him back down and into side control. Big elbows into the midsection of Lineker, who is curled on the fence. A knee to Lineker's chest as he gets to his feet, and then -- just as he stands -- Bagautinov tackles him back down along the opposite fence. Relentless pressure here from the Jackson fighter Bagautinov, who is dominating the round. Slowly, and after much struggle, Lineker grimaces back to his feet, but he is wearing the chain links as Bagautinov pushes him with all his hulk against the cage. As they separate, Bagautinov gives him a parting shot right in the grill. Lineker, perhaps frustrated, now holds middle of the cage again, and as Bagautinov once again goes for a single leg he retaliates with an elbow. Doesn't help, he's on his back again, but this time he's fishing for Bagautinov's heel. As Lineker torques, Bagautinov waves to the crowd and then flexes to much laughter (including from his coach Greg Jackson) as the fight ends. MMA Fighting scores R3 for Bagautinov 10-9 (29-28 Bagautinov overall)
