Conor McGregor to chew over movie deals after Jan. 18 fight against Dennis Siver

As if Conor McGregor's upcoming Jan. 18 fight against Dennis Siver didn't already have high enough stakes, it appears the silver screen has now come calling the popular Irishman as well.

MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani reported on Wednesday's episode of 'UFC Tonight' that several movie deals are "in the works" for the 26-year-old, according to manager Addie Attar, but that McGregor will only focus his attention on the opportunities after he takes care of business against Siver.

McGregor (16-2) is currently the No. 5 ranked featherweight in the UFC's media-generated rankings and carries a perfect 4-0 record in his short time with the UFC. After headlining the promotion's successful return to Dublin in July, McGregor made his biggest statement to date by TKO'ing perennial contender Dustin Poirier in the pair's UFC 178 grudge match.

McGregor is now slated to headline UFC Fight Night 59 against Siver (22-9, 1 NC), a Russian-German kickboxer who has lost just one of his past five fights since dropping down to featherweight. With a win in Boston, McGregor could potentially secure the next UFC featherweight title shot against champion Jose Aldo.
