Seriously, it's hard to know where to start with this given the amount of topics and issues going on in the sport. I suppose first and foremost would be actual fight results. UFC 180 saw Fabricio Werdum earn a version of UFC gold, Kelvin Gastelum cement himself as a true contender and Ricardo Lamas affirm himself as a top featherweight fixture.

Bellator 131 produced sensational television ratings, crowned Will Brooks as the undisputed lightweight champion and helped usher in a new era for the organization that is already receiving (mostly) positive reviews.

WSOF 15 also took place with David Branch and Justin Gaethje claiming or holding onto their titles.

Rumors are swirling about a potential Brock Lesnar return. While nothing is set in stone, I wouldn't be surprised if both organizations - UFC and Bellator - are making a play for him.

We're also dealing with the controversy from the fallout of the death of Dennis Munson, Jr. Several fighters like Rose Namajunas, Pat Barry, Eric Schafer and potentially others have come forward to decry what they say is the bullying atmosphere at the famed Roufusport fight camp.
