A bantamweight clash between Urijah Faber and Francisco Rivera has been added to UFC 181 on Dec. 6 in Las Vegas, Nev., according to UFC officials Wednesday night.

Both fighters have verbally agreed to the matchup.

Faber has won five of his past six fights, including a victory over Alex Caceres via submission (rear-naked choke) at UFC 175 this past July.

Rivera is 3-1 (with one no-contest) in his past five fights. He lost via unanimous decision to Takeya Mazugaki at UFC 173 on May 24, 2014.

Johny Hendricks defends his welterweight title against Robbie Lawler in the main event, while UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis puts his belt on the line against Gilbert Melendez in the co-main event.
