This is the UFC 164 undercard live blog for the UFC 164 event at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

There will be seven fights on the UFC 164 undercard. Jamie Varner vs. Gleison Tibau, Louis Gaudinot vs. Tim Elliott, Pascal Krauss vs. Hyun Gyu Lim, Chico Camus vs. Kyung Ho Kang, Soa Palelei vs. Nikita Krylov, Ryan Couture vs. Al Iaquinta, and Jared Hamman vs. Magnus Cedenblad will be featured on the prelims.

Jared Hamman vs. Magnus Cedenblad
Round 1: Al Wichgers is the third man in the cage. And we're off. Cedenblad shakes off a takedown attempt then fires off a hard jab. Hamman eats a one-two, then changes levels for a power double. Cedenblad slithers an arm under Hamman's throat and winds up in full mount, clutching a tight guillotine. Hamman taps. Well, that was quick.

Ryan Couture vs. Al Iaquinta
Round 1: Yves Lavigne is our referee. Iaquinta lunges inside with a left hook. Couture eats a right hand then fires back a front kick. Couture sneaks an inside leg kick high but Iaquinta just shakes it off. Iaquinta blasts Couture with a looping right hook. Couture staggers backward then regains his composure. Iaquinta catches a front kick then dumps Couture on his back, but can't follow up. Couture stands and trades. Iaquinta connects with a hard left to the midsection. Couture cracks Iaquinta's jaw with a flying knee. Iaquinta changes levels and powers Couture to the canvas, landing in full guard. Iaquinta drops at few hammerfists at the horn. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Iaquinta.

Round 2: Iaquinta slips in a gorgeous counter left. Iaquinta trips and Couture uses the moment to close the distance. Iaquinta fights off a takedown then squirms back into the center of the cage. Couture grasps for a single leg but he can't get it. Iaquinta cracks Couture with a straight right. And another to the body. And another over the top. Whew. Couture drops for another single. Iaquinta won't let him finish it. Iaquinta blocks a front kick up the middle. Iaquinta is starting to dominate these exchanges. Couture blocks a high kick. Iaquinta shoots inside for a double and gets it, ending the round in top position. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Iaquinta. (20-18 overall.)

Round 3: Couture lets out a howl. He told his corner he needs a finish, so let's see if he comes out with some desperation. Couture changes levels for a double leg and muscles Iaquinta to the mat. Iaquinta pops right to his feet and breaks away. Couture blasts Iaquinta with a flying knee. Iaquinta wades forward and answers with a looping right hook. Oof, Couture eats a nasty counter right hand. Couture works his jab and circles away. Couture drops for a takedown but Iaquinta defends, then starts brutalizing his midsection against the fence. Tremendous salvo there from Iaquinta. Couture blocks a high kick. Iaquinta wades inside an lands a standing elbow. Iaquinta effortlessly catches Couture's front leg and dumps him on his back. Couture stands, but Iaquinta is winging heavy leather. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Iaquinta. (30-27 overall.)

Soa Palelei vs. Nikita Krylov
Round 1: Al Wichger is the third man in the cage. Touch of gloves sets us off. Palelei catches a kick, lifts Kylov into the air then slams him to the mat. Krylov briefly hunts for a guillotine. Palelei escapes then rains down a few punches from the top. Krylov staying active on the bottom. Krylov snatches and traps Palelei's left arm. Palelei unloads a series of short punches that forces Krylov to let it go. Palelei jumps right into mount. Krylov gives up his back, then escapes out the backside. Palelei takes a heavy breath and Krylov unleashes a salvo. Palelei stays alive then works to Krylov's back. Palelei changes levels and dumps Krylov to the mat. Krylov throws up a triangle but can't get it. Palelei advances into side control. Oh wow, Krylov almost catches Palelei in a neck crank from the bottom. Palelei is exhausted but he won that round. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Palelei.

Round 2: Palelei's corner is worried about his ribs. Palelei answers the bell and immediately dumps Krylov on his back. Palelei works right into side control, then jumps into mount. Krylov gives up his back. Krylov briefly grabs a single but there was no way that could've worked. Krylov slowly rises to his feet. Palelei muscles Krylov against the fence, then dumps him back down. Wichger doesn't like what he sees and stands it up. Krylov explodes into a salvo. Krylov is absolutely pummeling Palelei against the fence. Krylov drops for a double, then changes back upstairs. Hard uppercut from Krylov followed by a knee. Palelei is just eating these shots. Palelei fires back but it's in slow motion. Another big knee crushes Palelei. Both of these guys are wheezing. Heavyweight MMA, ladies and gentlemen. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Krylov. (19-19 overall.)

Round 3: Palelei complained of a broken rib but his corner insisted it was only a strain. Bizarre exchange there. Both men answer the bell and Palelei instantly blasts Krylov with a huge right hand. Krylov is on shaky legs. Palelei continues to whale away. Krylov slowly collapses to a turtle position. Palelei pounds away from top position. That's it. Wichger mercifully steps in.

Chico Camus vs. Kyung Ho Kang
Round 1: Our referee for this bantamweight contest is Yves Lavigne. Kang starts us off with an inside leg kick. Camus dodges a high kick and fires back. Kang tosses out a pair of front kick. Camus wades inside with a one-two. Kang ducks under a shot and times a double leg perfectly, landing in half guard. Camus regains his guard. Kang stands and passes into half guard. Camus whirls and nearly gives up his back. Camus rights himself and finds his guard. Kang again stands then dives into half guard. Camus tries to roll out but Kang stops him and claims side control. Camus nearly gives up mount but slickly uses his hooks to regain guard. Kang isn't doing much damage, but Camus has been on the defensive for most of the round. Camus hunts for an omaplata, then uses the advantage to reverses position. Camus flies inside Kang's guard as the horn sounds. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Kang.

Round 2: Kang hits a beautiful inside trip and lands inside Camus' guard. Camus scrambles but Kang reclaims the position. Kang stands a cracks Camus with a right. Kang eats an upkick but dives into half guard undeterred. Kang works into side control, but only briefly. Camus explodes and reverses the position. Camus on top, working short punches and elbows. Kang scoots himself over the cage and tries to wall walk. Kang traps a leg but Camus has none of it and nearly sinks in a rear-naked choke. Camus is a whirlwind of action right now. More short shots from Camus. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Camus. (19-19 overall.)

Round 3: Kang surges forward. Camus dives onto an ankle and drags Kang to the canvas. Kang stands, then fires back. Another wild exchange. Kang hunts for a takedown and gets it, finishing in half guard. Kang content to just hold position for the time being. Camus finds his guard but can't get anything going. Kang is stifling. Camus finally creates some space and scoots to his feet. Camus drops Kang with a jumping knee, but Kang rolls and reverses into top position. Camus can't allow himself to get held down for the rest of the round. Camus desperately tries to create some space. Wow! Huge upkick ruins Kang! Camus unloads everything he has. Kang just trying to stay alive. This may be stopped. Camus can't get the finish, but he probably just won the fight. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Camus. (29-28 overall.)

Pascal Krauss vs. Hyun Gyu Lim
Round 1: Rob Hinds is our referee. Krauss cracks Lim with a counter right. Lim answers with one of his own. Both men putting together punches in bunches. Lim barely misses a front kick. Lim catches a kick then dumps Krauss on his back. Krauss scrambles up. Lim finds his range with a counter left hook. Lim is just gritting his teeth and throwing everything into these shots. Krauss eats a huge right and plummets to the canvas! Lim swarms. Krauss is trying to stay alive but he's in serious trouble. Lim is pouring it on. Huge knee sends Krauss diving back down to the canvas! Wow. That's all she wrote.

Louis Gaudinot vs. Tim Elliott
Round 1: Herb Dean is the third man in the cage. Both fighters meet in the middle of the cage and start trading. Elliott accidentally pokes Gaudinot in the eye. Oof, that didn't look pleasant. After a brief stop in the action, we're back. Elliott snatches a single leg and powers Gaudinot to the mat, landing in half guard. Elliott gives up a guillotine attempt, allows Gaudinot to regain his guard, then stands. Flying knee misses from Elliott. Gaudinot muscles Elliott up against the fence. Gaudinot releases and tosses out a few low kicks. Furious action here. Elliott wades forward and dumps Gaudinot on his back. Elliott unloads a series of hammerfists and short punches from top position. Elliott lets him up, but continues to pour on punches and knees from the clinch. Elliott takes the fight back to the ground, landing inside Gaudinot's guard. This round was all Elliott. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Elliott.

Round 2: Elliott mixing up his attack. Elliott lunges forward with a flying knee, then lands a salvo of short elbows against the fence. Gaudinot fires back and crushes Elliott with a knee. Elliott's hands are at his sides. Elliott ducks under a wild hook then counters. Elliott wades forward connecting with a combination. Elliott is taking control of every striking exchange. Elliott eats a kick to hit a power double on Gaudinot, landing inside his guard. Elliott advances into half guard. Elliott crushes Gaudinot's body with short elbows. Gaudinot tries to generate some space and scramble out but Elliott is stifling. Elliott dives onto a leglock attempt. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Elliot. (20-18 overall.)

Round 3: Elliott immediately ducks under a shot and seizes a single. Elliott completes the takedown, working into Gaudinot's half guard. Gaudinot rolls to his side. Elliott lets him back up. Elliott unloads a salvo of wild attacks, then eats a low kick on the way to completing another takedown. Elliott goes back to his bread and butter, mixing short punches and elbows with stifling top control. Elliott is relentless here. Gaudinot opens his guard and tries to hip escape, but it ain't happening. Elliott continues to work the body. The hammerfists rain down as the horn sounds. Tim Elliott def. Louis Gaudinot via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-26, 30-26)

Jamie Varner vs. Gleison Tibau
Round 1: Yves Lavigne is our referee for tonight's final preliminary bout. Varner circles left, blocks a high kick then paws out his jab. Varner lunges inside but eats a counter for his troubles. Varner lunges inside again and connects. Varner tries it once more but this time Tibau sees it coming and blasts him with a right hand. Varner cracks Tibau on the chin with a right hook. Tibau blocks a high kick. Tibau dives onto a single and completes it, landing in half guard. Varner scrambles to the fence and begins to wall walk. Varner turns and gives up his back. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Tibau.

Round 2: Varner closes the distance then dives onto a guillotine. Tibau powers out and secures top position from within Varner's half guard. Tibau is working to isolate Varner's arm for an arm triangle. Varner gives up his back, then thinks better of it. Tibau is just overwhelming Varner here. Tibau continues to unload short punches. Varner rolls hard but Tibau just retakes his back. Tibau snatches Varner's left arm and briefly hunts for a kimura. Varner defends and scrambles into half guard, but this is still a bad spot. Varner is just holding on. The crowd isn't enjoying it. Tibau easily climbs into mount, but that's the round. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Tibau.

Round 3: Varner needs to dial up his desperation. Tibau eats a stiff right. Varner follows up with a right to the body. Tibau ducks under a punch then perfectly times a power double. Varner scrambles back to his feet. Varner stalking forward. Varner rips into Tibau's midsection. Tibau cracks Varner with a straight left, then easily shakes off a takedown attempt. Whoa, Varner staggers Tibau with an uppercut. Varner closes the distance and changes levels, dumping Tibau on his back. Varner unloads a salvo of short punches. 90 seconds left. Varner has time to turn this around. Tibau eats another right hand. Varner's pace is slowing. Varner postures up and uncorks a few more shots. Valiant effort, but it probably wasn't enough.
