Round 1: Herb Dean is our referee for this women's bantamweight bout. Andrade catches a body kick and fires off a straight right counter. Carmouche closes the distance, pins the 21-year-old against the cage, then slams her down to the canvas, landing in side control. Andrade rolls, then stands. Andrade and Carmouche fight for position against the cage. Carmouche changes levels and trips Andrade, landing in half guard. Carmouche advances into side control. Andrade tries to buck herself free, but Carmouche drags Andrade away from the cage. Oh wow, Andrade lifts Carmouche over her head and slams her to the mat. Andrade quickly seizes an arm-in guillotine. Carmouche tries to shake her off but can't. Thirty seconds left. Carmouche staying calm, but she's in a bad spot. Carmouche survives to the horn. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 Andrade.
Round 2: Both fighters trade leg kicks. Andrade wades inside, but Carmouche drops down and dumps her to the mat, advancing into side control. Carmouche moves right into mount and starts dropping bombs. Andrade gives up her back, but Carmouche is relentless. Carmouche slithers in a rear-naked choke and cranks down. Andrade somehow powers out, but she's still in huge trouble. Carmouche flattens Andrade out and unloads a salvo of elbows. Herb Dean is about to stop this fight. Andrade spins. Carmouche has a high, high mount. More short punches from the top. Andrade again gives up her back. Carmouche unleashes another series of unanswered shots, and that's it. Dean steps in.
