A scheduled featherweight bout set for the UFC's first show on FOX Sports 1 is now changed due to injury. Akira Corassani, a veteran from season 14 of 'The Ultimate Fighter' (TUF), has withdrawn from his preliminary card bout opposite former WEC featherweight champion Mike Brown. In for Corassani is another alumnus from season 14 of TUF, Steven Siler. UFC made the news officials on Monday.

Siler, 26, last competed at UFC 159 in April where he defeated Kurt Holobaugh by unanimous decision. He is 22-10 in professional MMA, but 4-1 since joining the UFC in 2011.

Brown, 37, is the former WEC featherweight champion. He is 8-4 in Zuffa organizations, which he joined in June of 2008. His MMA record stands at 26-8. He last competed at UFC 146 in May of 2012 where he defeated Daniel Pineda by unanimous decision. Brown nearly retired after his last bout, but decided to continue competing and signed a five-fight UFC deal in July of 2012.

The first UFC on FOX Sports 1 show takes place August 17 at the TD Garden in Boston, Mass. That day also marks the official launch of the FOX Sports 1 channel.
