TUF 17 Finale in Tweets: Pros react to Urijah Faber vs. Scott Joregensen, Uriah Hall vs. Kelvin Gastelum and more

Esther Lin, MMA Fighting

It's often cliche, but I suppose not exactly false. The ladies often do steal the show. In a night where the main and co-main events were actual bouts of significance but involved only men, it turns out the women not only put on the most entertaining bout but also did so in what could be the most important bout of the evening.

Still, there was something to love no matter the preference. Faber vs. Jorgensen wasn't a bar burner, but was plenty technical. Moreover, the winner is either going to get a title shot or is one win away from a title shot. And how about Kelvin Gastelum? The kid few thought could do anything actually, well, did. And while Uriah Hall certainly didn't look bad, it's pretty clear he's not ready for a top 10 opponent.
