Siyar Bahadurzada's win streak is history.

The Afghan-born striker was taken out of his element repeatedly by opponent Dong Hyun Kim, who used his grappling prowess to make it a ground fight. With that as the backdrop for the fight, it was Kim in charge from beginning to end. After the three-rounder, Kim was awarded a unanimous decision by scores of 30-27, 30-27, 30-27.

Kim had a bit of trouble getting Bahadurzada down in the first round, failing to do so in his first three tries, but that was the end of the dry spell. The rest of the night, Bahadurzada struggled to stay off his back.

In all three rounds, Kim earned mount, leaving Bahadurzada just looking to survive.

Kim looked as though he might finish the bout in the third, when he earned mount early in the round. Kim hunted an arm triangle submission, but Bahadurzada defended it well. Instead, Kim returned to the mount where he dropped his longest sustained barrage of strikes, emphasizing elbows during an attack in which he taunted his opponent in between hitting him. Bahadurzada was able to sustain the shots, but was never able to mount any offense of his own in falling.

Bahadurzada had won seven in a row before losing in the UFC on FUEL 8 match. He's now 21-5-1.

Kim (17-2-1, 1 no contest) has now captured three of his last four.
